Hermine Darringer Sullivan, 85, of Perryopolis, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at Country Care Manor, Fayette City. Born November 13, 1933 in Germany she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Anna Fuchs Darringer. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 7 years, Mrs. Sullivan was a member of St. John The Baptist RC Church and was retired from the Hilton, Downtown Pittsburgh, where she worked in the service staff. Hermine enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters Margaret Sullivan of Pittsburgh, Christine Attanucci of Perryopolis; two grandchildren Karissa Attanucci, Brooke Attanucci, sister Rosi Kock and nephew Hans Kock both of Germany. She is preceded in death by her husband James P. Sullivan; son in law Matthew Attanucci; brother Rudolph Darringer and sister Anna Riha.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. John The Baptist RC Church with the Rev. Efren Ambre as celebrant. Members of St. John the Baptist church will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Hermine Sullivan Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
