JoAnn Adams

JoAnn Hillen Adams, 79, of Star Junction, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown.  Born August 5, 1940 in Smock, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Keffer Hillen.   A resident of Star Junction for over 50 years, Mrs. Adams was a member of Harmony Presbyterian Church and was retired from Frazier School District, where she worked as a Cafeteria Worker and was also previously employed at Randall’s Restaurant, Perryopolis.  JoAnn was a former Girl Scout Leader, enjoyed crocheting, vacations at the beach and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children Raymond F. Adams Jr. & wife Chelle of Point Marion,  Ricky Adams & wife Karen of Star Junction, Michael Adams & wife Deanna of Dawson, Linda ‘Pebbles' Means & husband Rob of Monarch, Melissa 'Missy' Clingan & husband Douglas of Star Junction; 18 grandchildren David Lester, Michael Lester, Timmy Lester, Noah Adams, AJ Adams, Erick Adams, Sarah Adams, Craig Kordich, Danny Kordich, Jeffery Adams, Matthew Adams, Melissa Adams, Danielle Adams, Kaithlyn Wyne, Philip 'Critter' Tominello, Anna Tominello, James Lint, Ashley Zocco and 26 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond F.  Adams Sr., daughter Brenda Lester, son Jeffery Adams; two brothers James 'Sonny' Hillen, Charles 'Bud' Hillen and a sister Dorothy 'Dolly' Szabo.
