Joseph Krill, 92, of Katy, TX, formerly of Belle Vernon, fell asleep in the Lord Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Houston Methodist West Hospital, Houston, TX. Born August 10, 1925 in Belle Vernon, he was the son of the late Michael and Martha Shlanta Krill. Mr. Krill was a founding member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church in Belle Vernon, served as a council officer for many years and was actively involved in all church activities. Joseph graduated from Rostraver High School and was a proprietor for Krill’s Food Center in Belle Vernon for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife Sophia Mucha Krill whom he married July 26, 1953; two daughters & sons in law Nancy & Husband Alan Pcsolyar of Newtown Square, PA, Kathy & Husband Nouhad Bassila of Katy, TX; two sons & daughter in law Timothy and Laurice Krill of Sugarland, TX, Richard Krill of Cypress, TX; eight grandchildren Joseph Krill & wife Jordan, Timothy Krill & fiancé Jenine Zaibaq, Michael Krill, Nika Bitsko & husband John, Joshua Pcsolyar, Daniel Pcsolyar, Michael Bassila, John Bassila; two great grandsons and a brother Eugene Krill of Ft. Myers, FL. He is preceded in death by a brother Clement Krill.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Relatives and friends will gather at Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church on Saturday March 31, 2018 for funeral services at 12 noon with the Very Rev. Stephan Gresh of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Joseph Krill to Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church.
