Katherine Mizerak
August 11, 1923 — October 13, 2017
Katherine C. Michner Mizerak, 94, passed away quietly on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 9:10 am at Greensburg Care Center where she resided for the last couple of years. Katherine who lived most of her life in California, PA was a homemaker who raised five children. She enjoyed her ‘sweets’, taking walks and all games of chance especially cards. The greatest joy of her life was being present to help raise and nurture her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A happy go lucky person all her life she would be the first to say ”Remember me with smiles and laughter as I’ll remember you all”
Surviving are her daughter Kathleen Mizerak of North Belle Vernon, two sons & daughters in law Andrew & Patty Mizerak of Monessen, Joseph Mizerak II & wife Cathy of Fallowfield Twp., seven grandchildren including a granddaughter Stephanie Clevenger who lived with her ‘Gun’ all her life and who was totally devoted to her and her numerous great grandchildren including her great grandson Shelby.
She is preceded in death by her parents William and Rose Balkus Michner; husband Andrew J. Mizerak (1983), daughter Rosalie Smith (2004) and a son William Mizerak (2011). A quiet family burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Coal Center.
