Nick Nuccetelli

Nick Nuccetelli, 91, of Jeanette formerly of Belle Vernon, died Monday, November 13, 2017 at Golden Heights Nursing Home, Irwin. Born February 15, 1926 in Grindstone, he was the son of the late Louis and Fannie Nuccetelli. A resident of Jeannette for the past 12 years, Mr. Nuccetelli was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, was retired from Whg-Pgh Steel, Monessen Plant, where he worked as a Basic Oxygen Furnace Operator. Nick was a veteran of World War II where he served in the US Army Air Corps, was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659, Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus Council 3026, Holy Name Society and the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly.
He is survived by two sons & daughters in law Nick Nuccetelli Jr. & wife Lori of Belle Vernon, David & Deanna Nuccetelli of Columbus, OH, two daughters & sons in law Donna & Joe Kluz of Roscoe, Cathy & Dave Kessinger of Jeannette; eight grandchildren Nick Nuccetelli, Kayla Chaybin, Samantha Kluz, Alex Kuszmaul, Clayton Kuszmaul, Trent Nuccetelli, Brian Blacka, Matthew Blacka; two great grandchildren Amelia Nuccetelli and Paul Nuccetelli. He is preceded in death by his wife Adeline Mendicino Nuccetelli (7/10/2010), four brothers Joseph Desimone, George Desimone, Anthony Desimone, Frank Nuccetelli; four sisters Lucille DeMargio, Louise Vlosich, Evelyn Ging, Clara Scanlan and a great grandson Vincent Nuccetelli.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayers of Transfer will be held Thursday at 9:15 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Francisco R. Gan Jr. Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Nick Nuccetelli Wednesday at 3 PM, the Belle Vernon American Legion will conduct services at 7 PM and the Belle Vernon Knights of Columbus at 7:30 PM all in the funeral home.
