Theresa A. Gedeon Keefer, 88, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 3:15 pm at Haven Crest Nursing Home, Carroll Twp.  Born October 15, 1929 in Martins Ferry, OH. She was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Brubaugh Gedeon.   A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 60 years, Mrs. Keefer was a member of St. John the Evangelist RC Church, Connellsville.  She was employed at various clothing manufacturers throughout the Mon Valley, loved and adored her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Theresa loved to play and watch sports. She was an avid Steeler fan, and enjoyed the annual football trip to Cincinnati. She also was a football booster mom for Belle Vernon Area for many years.  She was happiest if she was dancing or feeding you a home cooked meal.

She is survived by her loving children Pam Roach of Marietta, GA, Tim Keefer & wife Pauline of Perryopolis, Sandy Evon & husband John of Star Junction, Tracie Sivak & husband John of Rostraver Twp.; daughter in law Deb Keefer; 12 grandchildren Ben, Katie & husband Jarrett, Bryant, Will & wife Jaime, Lauren & husband Eric, Zachary & wife Lisa, Nick & wife Jenna, Tiffany & husband Ken, Heather & husband Rob, Amber, Taylor & husband Harold, Jenna; 10 great grandchildren Bella, Aubrey, Brayden, Mackenzie, Hailey, Odin, Addilynn, Casen, Jack, Elowin and twins due in April, two cousins with whom she grew up with Anne and Marge; brother-in-law Paul Keefer; sisters-in-law Fontaine Keefer and Peggy Fitzpatrick and her beloved pets Martha Washington and Zeke.  She is preceded in death by her husband Robert D.  Keefer Sr., her son Robert D. Keefer Jr. And Rocky & Punky.

Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday November 17, 2017 at 6:30 pm at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Connellsville with the Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.

The family would wish to extend a special thank you to Fresinsus Dialysis Center, Amedisys Hospice and her nurse Lauren, Sister Bernadette and to haven Crest Nursing Center for all of their care and love for our Mother.  Donations can be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
