John T. Young

John T. “Ted” Young Jr., 83, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., passed away Monday, August 28, 2023 at AHN Jefferson Hospital.  Born June 29, 1940 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late John T. Young Sr. and Mary Abbott Young.  A resident of Rostraver Twp. the past 25 years, Mr. Young worked as a master mechanic from Wal Mart, Belle Vernon.  Ted enjoyed watching NASCAR, working on cars and woodcrafts.

He is survived by daughter & son in law Terri & Edward Pykosh of Monongahela, two brothers & sisters in law Dennis & Vicky Young, James & Teresa Young, two sisters Mary Brumley, Linda Paulsey, two grandchildren Edward Pykosh III of Mechanicsburg, Genevieve & Joel Rugg of South Park, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He is preceded in death by his wife Jennie J. 'Billie' Moore Young (6-20-2023), three brothers Edward, Vernon, and Paul Young and sister Janice Maloy.
