Albert T. Palmer

December 6, 1932 — August 7, 2017

Albert T. Palmer, 84, of Perryopolis, died Monday, August 7, 2017 at 8:55 am at the VA Hospital, Aspinwall.  Born December 6, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Anthony Palmer and Domenica Dacquilante.   A resident of Perryopolis for the past 45 years, Mr. Palmer was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis, was a retired purchasing agent from Teledyne Inc. and was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the US Army.  Albert and his wife owned and operated The Red Treasure Barn Antiques, Perryopolis, enjoyed collecting antique toys, gardening and watching old movies.  After his retirement Albert and his family started Palmer Construction.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Banyas Palmer to whom he was married 61 years; six children Christina Bolla & husband Bob of Pittsburgh, Michael Palmer & wife Elaine of Pittsburgh, Stephen Palmer & wife Debbie of Indiana, John Palmer & wife Susan of Perryopolis, Albert Palmer & wife Leslie of Canonsburg, Molly Masood & husband Amir of Pittsburgh; 10 grandchildren; brother & sister in law Bill & Shirley Palmer of Pittsburgh; sister & brother in law Jane & Paul Tomasovich of Pittsburgh and numerous nieces & nephews.  He is preceded in death by a brother Tony Palmer.

Relatives and friends will gather at St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis Saturday August 12, 2017 for funeral mass at 10:30 am with the Rev. Anthony W. Ditto as celebrant.  Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist RC Cemetery.  Following the services relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a funeral luncheon to celebrate the life of Albert Palmer at the Perry Twp. Fire Department Social Hall.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Albert T. Palmer to The American Cancer Society or the Pittsburgh VA.
