Alice M. Dominiak

Alice M. Yenchick Dominiak, 83, of Perryopolis, Jefferson Twp., died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 12:50 pm at her home.  Born January 10, 1933 in Rowes Run, PA she was the daughter of the late John J. and Blanche Richter Yenchick.   A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Mrs. Dominiak was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis and was a retired home care giver with Upjohn, Pittsburgh.   Alice was also a former elementary school teacher and former employee of the Fayette County Community Action for Women, Infants and Children's Programs.  She was past president of St. John's Altar Society and was active in its fundraisers.  Her lifelong passion was reading and literature, her family and spent an enormous amount of time worrying and caring for her family.

She is survived by a daughter Pamela Dominiak Reed of Perryopolis and a grandson John Reed and wife Lindsey of Johnstown.  She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph M.  Dominiak Jr.(8/10/2013), a son James Joseph Dominiak, brother John James Yenchick and two sisters Priscella Yenchick and Bernadine Shenal.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Thursday at 9:45 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist RC Church with the Rev. Anthony W. Ditto as celebrant.  Interment will take place in St. John the Baptist RC Cemetery, Perryopolis.  Members of St. John the Baptist church will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Alice Dominiak Wednesday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
