Andrew James 'Spanky' Skirpan

Andrew James “Spanky” Skirpan, 80, of Greensburg, formerly of Washington and Belle Vernon, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Excela Health, Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.  Born February 10, 1943 in New Eagle, PA he was the son of the late Andrew Skirpan and Helen Dutko Skirpan Owens and stepfather Thomas Raymond Owens.  A resident of Greensburg for the past 26 years, Spanky was Catholic by faith and was a retired salesman from B. Bogdewic Automotive and Kelly Auto Parts.

He is survived by his wife Vicky Tuthill Skirpan to whom he was married to for 20 years, son James Skirpan, daughter & son in law Stacy & Scott Coite, stepson David Shindhelm and wife Julie, mother in law Pat, granddaughter Kaitlyn Coite, and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his loving sister & brother in law Gerry & Harry Shallenberger, two stepbrothers Earl and Raymond Owens.

A private family visitation and funeral services were held at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
