Anne Logoyda Pantalo, formerly of Perryopolis, fell asleep in the Lord in the Hope of the Resurrection on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 13, 1933 in Perryopolis, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Krivenko) Logoyda.
Anne was a devoted and loving wife, mother and Baba, served as the Borough of Perryopolis secretary for over 20 years and retired in 1996. She was a lifelong member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Perryopolis. She relocated to Scott Twp in 2001 and attended St Gregory Byzantine Catholic Church in Upper Saint Clair.
She is survived by her son, Dr. John G. Pantalo of Philadelphia, PA and her daughter, Barbara (Bobbi) Spak and her husband Rev. Deacon Myron Spak of Scott Twp., PA, grandchildren Michael Spak of Scott Twp, PA, Larissa Marchi and her husband Nicholas of Cranberry Twp, PA, and Nicholas George Spak, of Scott Twp., PA, brother Pete Logoyda and his wife Dixie of Dade City, FL, sister-in-law, Dolores of Perryopolis, PA, brother-in-law Louis Pantalo and his wife Lucy of Uniontown, PA. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her loving husband George; her infant son Michael; four brothers, Mike, John, George and Stephen Logoyda; sister Mary L. Vrabel and infant sisters Mary & Matrona Logoyda.
In accordance with Anne’s wishes, family and friends will be received at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, 102 Railroad St. Perryopolis, PA from 9am on Friday, November 23, 2018 until the beginning of the funeral services at 10am. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, Perryopolis, PA 15473.
