Barbara J. Emricko

Barbara J. Giocondi Emricko, 74, of Perryopolis, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at her home. Born September 5, 1950 in Connellsville, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph Giocondi Sr. and Elvera DiVirgilio Giocondi. A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Mrs. Emricko was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church and was a retired case worker from the Dept. Of Public Welfare. She was a member of the former Altar Society, enjoyed fine arts, and loved to bake and cook.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Emricko Sr. to whom she was married for 55 years, two sons & daughters in law Thomas Emricko Jr. & Jessica of Perryopolis, Jason & Danni Emricko of Irwin, brother & sister in law Joseph Giocondi Jr. & Pamela, six grandchildren Lauren Leone, Noah Emricko, Nathan Emricko, Bailey Emricko, Carley Emricko, Mackenzie Emricko, her beloved pet puppy Lucci, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

All family and friends are asked to gather directly at the St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis on Saturday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Rodolfo Meija as celebrant. Barbara’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Interment will take place in St. John The Baptist RC Cemetery. The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Barbara Emricko to St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis.
