Barbara McArdle

Barbara McArdle, 89, of Star Junction, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at LaFayette Manor, Uniontown.  Born August 20, 1934 in Star Junction, PA she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ann Monosky McArdle.  A lifelong resident of Star Junction, Barbara was a member of St. John The Baptist RC Church and was a retired cook from the former Sweeneys Restaurant.  She is survived by her sister Patricia Molchan of Star Junction and several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great great nieces & nephews.  She is preceded in death by her two brothers James, Gerald McArdle, an infant brother, three sisters Eleanor Hager, Mary Elizabeth Lipovsky, and Janet McArdle.  

Per Barbara’s wishes, a private family visitation will be held Wednesday morning.  All family and friends are asked to gather directly to St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis for funeral mass at 10:30 AM.  Interment will take place in St. John The Baptist RC Cemetery.  The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kristi from Amedysis Hospice for her comfort and care to Barbara.   Barbara’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.
