Beth Schaffer

Beth Pirchesky Schaffer, 62, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., died Monday, June 25, 2018 at Donnell House, Washington.  Born July 3, 1955 in N. Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth Ziskind Pirchesky.  A resident of Belle Vernon most of her life, Mrs. Schaffer was Jewish by faith, worked for Aetna Health Insurance as a customer care specialist, and loved to shop and collect antiques.

She is survived by her husband Thomas Schaffer of Pittsburgh and daughter Heather Duttry & Fiancé Zack Harris of Belle Vernon.  She is preceded in death by her daughter Gwen Shakespeare and a brother Marvin Pirchesky.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-3 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 followed by funeral services at 3 PM with the Rabbi David Novitsky of Temple Beth Israel, Washington officiating.  Interment will take place in Temple Beth Am Cemetery.
