Carrie L. Forsythe

Carrie L. Avery Forsythe, 65, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., formerly of Grindstone, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born December 3, 1959 in Brownsville, PA she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. Avery and Betty Ann Gutherie Sztroin. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past three months, former lifelong resident of Grindstone, Mrs. Forsythe retired from the former Waddington PCH and Country Care Manor, where she worked as a caregiver. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and bird watching.

She is survived by her boyfriend Ronald Dalrymple with whom they shared 22 years together, son John T. Keffer Jr. & fiancé Amy M. Rose of Donora, daughter Marie Keffer of Perryopolis, seven grandchildren Emma, Fayth, Kenny, Kayla, Wyatt, Aiden, Leigha, brother Elroy 'Butch' Avery of Lober, three sisters Betty Clark of Connellsville, Marie Moore of Cleveland, OH, and Dianna Lowe of West Virginia. She is preceded in death by her brothers Douglas Avery and George Stzroin.
