Charles A. “Chuck” “Punky” Kessler, 61, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Brighton Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, Beaver. Born December 24, 1961 in Connellsville, PA he was the son of the late Charles Mauk and Arlene Black Kessler. A resident of Butler for the past 22 years, Mr. Kessler worked as a personal caregiver, a stay-at-home dad and helped grant wishes for Journey of Hope for the terminally ill.
He is survived by his wife Jill Davis-Kessler to whom he was married to for 12 years, three daughters Elizabeth Kessler, Amanda Davis, Christen Kradel, two sons C.J. Kessler, Jonathan Kessler, three brothers & two sisters in law Lee & Kim Kessler, John Kessler, Lance & Tonya Kessler, three sisters & two brothers in law Charlene & Tom Teets, Robin Clawson, Kelly & Pat Mckeel, 13 grandchildren, Makenna and Boe to whom he was very close with, one great grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his two brothers Jeffrey and Lonnie Kessler, and grandson Ryan.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-7:30 PM followed by funeral services at 7:30 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.
