David R. Magill

David R. Magill, 47, of Ruffs Dale, formerly of West Newton, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at his home. Born May 16, 1969 in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Ralph Magill and Carol Sloan Magill of West Newton. A resident of Ruffs Dale for the past 4 years, Mr. Magill was Presbyterian by faith and was a maintenance technician at Breeze Industrial Corporation, Saltsburg. David was a member of the West Newton Sportsman's Club, was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman and also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.
He is survived by his wife Kari Harvey Magill to whom he was married 19 years; three children Meagan Fisher of West Newton, Emily Fisher of White Oak, Nathan Magill at home; a grandson Joseph Woleslagle; brother and sister in law Dan & Brenda Magill of Point Marion and two sisters & brothers in law Debbie & Joseph Bordas of Belle Vernon and Lisa & Mike Gillotty of Coal Center.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis PA 15473, 724-736-2515 followed by funeral services at 7:30 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. John Mannon of West Newton Presbyterian Church officiating.
