Deborah Ann Elwell

Deborah Ann Farmer Elwell, 69, of Scottdale, passed away Monday, October 30, 2023 at her home.  Born March 17, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, PA she was the daughter of the late Clifford Eugene Farmer and Patricia Ann Peterson Farmer who survives and resides in Scottdale.  Formerly of Dawson, Mrs. Elwell grew up in Scottdale and had returned and resided there for the past 3 years.  Deborah recently retired last year from Frazier School District, where she worked as a Custodian.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially shopping with her daughter all day and night.  Deborah was the type of person who did everything for everyone. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter & son in law Nicole & Ryan Knight of Rostraver, brother Rick Farmer of Scottdale, sister & brother in law Brenda & Jim Weaver of Dawson, nephew Garrett & Caitlin Weaver, aunt Dolores Peterson whom Deborah looked after and took care of, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and grand puppy Oakley who she enjoyed spending weekends with.  She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph D. Elwell and little sister Barbara Jean Farmer who she couldn’t wait to see.
