Edward J. Lisovich

Edward J. Lisovich, 89, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela.  Born July 20, 1931 in Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Kolanko Lisovich.  A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 64 years, Mr. Lisovich was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church.  Edward was retired from Pipefitter Union Local 354, where he worked as a plumber and pipefitter and served in the US Army Reserves.  He was a member of the St. Sebastian church choir and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann Kamenicky Lisovich to whom he married 64 years, son & daughter in law Brian & Laura Lisovich of North Belle Vernon, daughter Diane Staskiewicz of Georgia, daughter & son in law Jennifer & Brian Taglieri of Georgia, brother Felix Lisovich of Belle Vernon, sister Laura Chaney of Allport, grandchildren Megan Staskiewicz, Mallory Staskiewicz, Kayla Lisovich, Ashliegh Lisovich, Tyler Lisovich, Kevin Lisovich Jr., and Amelia Tagliari.  He is preceded in death by four brothers Frank, Stanley, Andrew, John, five sisters Stella Lisovich, Mary Lisovich, Josephine Lisovich, Ann Pech, Florence Phillips, son Kevin J. Lisovich Sr. and grandson Connor L. Lisovich

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  In accordance with state mandates masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
