Ellen Marie Cicchitto Filardi, 76, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., died Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 11:37 am at Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela. Born November 25, 1940 in N. Charleroi, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Elsie Oliveri Cicchitto. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 50 years, Mrs. Filardi was a member of St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter & son in law Shawn Marie & Phillip Tollari of Monessen; son Richard Filardi Jr. of New Eagle and sister Karen Keatts of North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Filardi; two sisters Mary Onda, Fran Colville and a brother Carl Cicchitto.
A joint visitation and memorial service for Ellen Marie and husband Richard Filardi will be held Monday evening form 6-8 pm followed by funeral services at 8 pm in the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor of St. Sebastian R.C. Church officiating. Private family interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
