Garrett Judson Hoose Sr., 47, of Perryopolis, died Friday, October 6, 2017 at his home. Born May 11, 1970 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of William Hoose of Lake Havaso, Arizona and the late Sandra Haller Hoose. A resident of Perryopolis, Garrett was Methodist by faith, a social worker for Anova Health Care & Fresinius Dialysis Clinic, was a race car enthusiast and enjoyed doing body work on cars. He served on the Perryopolis Borough council for multiple terms.
He is survived by his wife Maria M. Doria Hoose to whom he was married 23 years, son Garrett Judson Hoose Jr. of Perryopolis, brother & sister in law William Hoose Jr. & wife Natalia and a sister & brother in law Leslie & Martin Peake of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 pm followed by funeral services at 8 pm in the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.
