Gary Tydings

Gary C. Tydings, 64, of Monessen, formerly of Washington D.C., died Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 10:50 am at Manor Care, McMurray.  Born September 19, 1951 in Washington D.C.,  he was the son of the late James Tydings Sr. and Shirley Lemieux Tydings who survives and resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.   A resident of Monessen for the past 4 years, having previously resided in Oxon Hill, MD, Mr. Tydings was Baptist by faith.  He developed a passion for photography, especially nature photography, enjoyed sports activities and walking his dog Bubbles in the neighborhood.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Debora Harris Tydings to whom he would have been married 24 years in July, Daughter Tania Tydings of Hanover, MD; two brothers & sisters in law Jimmie & Vivian Tydings Jr., Reggie & Diane Tydings; two sisters & brother in law Debbie & R.W. Carney, Bobbi Lemieux all of Maryland; mother in law Agnes Harris; sisters in law and brothers in law Loretta Harris, Carol Bryant, Ed Harris Jr., George Harris and Anna Harris.  He is preceded in death by his Father in law Ed Harris.

Visitation will be held Monday from 11-1 pm followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Dr. Gary Yarbrough in the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Interment will take place in Rehoboth Cemetery, Rostraver Twp.
