Harry H. Hosfelt III

Harry H. Hosfelt III, 81, of Perryopolis, Perry Twp., passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024 at WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown.  Born January 31, 1943 in Connellsville, PA he was the son of the late Harry H. Hosfelt Jr. and Genevieve Shandorf Hosfelt Ludwig.   A resident of Perryopolis for the past 35 years, Mr. Hosfelt was Catholic by faith and was retired from Local Union 66 Operating Engineers, where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Hosfelt, daughter Lori Downs of Connellsville, son Harry H. Hosfelt IV of Mt. Pleasant, seven grandchildren A.J. Downs (Sarah), Danielle Burkholder (Albert), Jeffrey Downs, Bethany Downs, Hailee Downs (Chris), Jordan Hosfelt, Miranda Hosfelt; great grandchildren Noah Downs, Ethan Burkholder, Grant Burkholder, Priscilla Nazaroff, Addison Hosfelt; brother Robert Ludwig of Greensburg; two sisters & brother in law Lugene & Bill Pellish of Connellsville and Garnet Kostik of Connellsville.  He is preceded in death by his sister Audrey Hominsky.

Private visitation and funeral services were Monday with the Rev. Rodolfo Mejia of St. John The Baptist RC Church officiating at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.  Interment will take place in Green Ridge Memorial Park.
