Helen M. Exley

Helen M. Hugic Exley, 90, of Perryopolis, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at WVU - Ruby Memorial, Morgantown, WV.  Born January 27, 1934 in Elkland, PA she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bella Cutash Hugic.  A resident of Perryopolis for the past 60+ years, Mrs. Exley was a member of St. John The Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis, was a homemaker that enjoyed cooking and baking, was an avid shopper and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter & son in law Megan & Mike Pierce of Uniontown; two grandchildren Joshua Lee Exley, Jenna Lee Pierce; sister in law Dorthy Yard of Waterford and numerous nieces & nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Lee Exley; son Steven Lee Exley and a brother Walter Hugic Jr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-6 pm followed by funeral services at 6:00 PM with the Rev. Rodolfo Mejia of St. John The Baptist RC Church officiating at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.  Private family interment will take place in St. John The Baptist RC Cemetery on Wednesday.
