Helen Palli

Helen F. Zdilla Palli, 84, of Belle Vernon, Washington twp., died Monday, July 11, 2016 at 7:08 am at Mon Valley Hospital. Born January 30, 1932 in Donora, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Bednar Zdilla. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 51 years, Mrs. Palli was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church where she was a CCD teacher, involved in Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, assisted in holiday church decorating along with other parish activities and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Joseph A. Palli to whom she was married 51 years, daughter & son in law Pamela & Chuck Crawford of Belle Vernon, son & daughter in law Joseph G. & Diane Palli of Belle Vernon, son & daughter in law Keith & Robin Palli of Haggerstown, MD, daughter & son in law Dawn & Joseph Peden of Ruffsdale; six grandchildren Justin Ciepiela, Christopher Crawford, Sarah & Stephen Palli, Abby & Ally Peden; two brothers & sister in law Raymond & Mary Zdilla of River Forest, Ill, Robert Zdilla of Clinton and a sister Dolores Enquist of Sterling Heights, MI. She is preceded in death by three brothers Edward, Joseph and William Zdilla and three sisters Irene Zdilla, Catherine Fox and Elizabeth Zdilla.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Helen Palli Wednesday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
