Helen Serwinski

Helen E. Roskey Serwinski, 98, of Farmington, formerly of Lynnwood, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 8:44 pm at Marquis Gardens Place, Uniontown.  Born May 29, 1919 in Calumet, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Victoria Godzinski Roskey.   A resident of Farmington for the past 32 years, Mrs. Serwinski was a member of Joan of Arc R.C. Church, Farmington and was a retired cafeteria worker from the former Fox Grocery.  She was a member of the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V. Court 1522 was an avid cook, baker, card player and reader.

She is survived by son & daughter in law Donald & Patricia Serwinski of Farmington; daughter & son in law Carol & Carl Hughs of Rostraver Twp.; four grandchildren Cheryl Fleming, Cathy Campbell, Christopher Sewinski, Ami Marie Serwinski and five great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Edward T.  Serwinski (12/12/2012) and two brothers Edward Roskey and Stanley Roskey.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.   Services will be held Saturday 9:30 am at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations followed with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Helen E Serwinski. Due to road closures in town Saturday morning tell officials you are attending the funeral.
