James E. Brosick, 77, of Stockdale, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Greenery Specialty Care Center, Canonsburg after battling an illness for the past 1 ½ years. Born June 19, 1948 in Crescent Heights, PA he was the son of the late James and Caroline Kwapian Brosick. A resident of Stockdale for the past several years, Mr. Brosick was a member of St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon. James retired from Whg-Pgh Steel, Monessen Plant, where he worked as a Chemical Processor. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served as a combat medic in the US Army, a member of the Phantom Cruizes Car Club and the Roscoe American Legion Post 801.
He is survived by his loving partner Joanne Rygelski of Stockdale, brother & sister in law Lesli & Doris Brosick, sister Darlene Pearce, and many nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Louis Brosick.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Friday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 12:00 PM with the Rev. Michael Thomas of St. Sebastian R.C. Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
