Janice L. Anderson

Janice Lee Anderson passed away with her family by her side on January 24^th 2024 following a long battle with end-stage COPD.   She was a very proud United States Air Force Veteran and enjoyed all things patriotic.  Janice lived a life filled with kindness and compassion for others.   She had a career in nursing and loved her job, even travel nursing across the county and as far as Hawaii.    Janice was a bright light in the lives of many people and she will be sorely missed.  Her family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude to the staff whom became her family at Mt. Macrina Manor/OPSTA Hospice for all of their loving care and compassion they provided.  Janice will be remembered fondly for her sense of humor, compassion for those she loved, and her spirited personality.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Ramona Anderson Golden and both her paternal and maternal grandparents.  Janice is survived by her loving children Cody Inman (Francine) of Belle Vernon and Jesse Inman (Alicia) of Star Junction.  She is also survived by several siblings Karen Sossa and Lori Grafton (Perry) of Ohio, Cheryl Lynn of New York, Mark Anderson, of Mt. Pleasant, and Scott Anderson (Lana) of Virginia.  She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.  Public visitation to be held at the Perryopolis First Christian Church from 10-11 AM on Saturday February 3^rd 2024 with her funeral service will be held immediately following at 11 AM.  Interment will be held privately at a future date at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Washington, PA.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.
