Josephine C. O'Hara

Josephine C. Cetto O'Hara, 96, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:20 pm at Residence at Hilltop.  Born May 30, 1919 in Newell, PA she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Zugliani Cetto.  A resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. O'Hara was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon where she sang in the church funeral choir and faithfully participated in the parish rosary for funeral visitations.  She was a member of the Valley of Hope Prayer Group, Third Order of St. Francis, Friends of the Veterans, delivered Meals on Wheels, former Legion of Mary and the former St. Sebastian Ladies Guild.  She spent a lifetime as a Valley seamstress, made countless rosaries to send to missions and loved to cook and bake for her family.

She is survived by two sons & daughters in law William G. & Joyce O'Hara of Washington, Patrick F. & Polly O'Hara of Greensburg; daughter Mary Jo O'Hara of Greensburg; five grandchildren Shelly O'Hara-Tapp, Kathleen Delsandro, Brian Delsandro, Maggie O'Hara, Patrick O'Hara; two great grandchildren Noah Tapp, Liam Tapp and a sister Irene Colborn of Belle Vernon.   She is preceded in death by her husband William W. O'Hara 11/13/1984 and two sisters Margaret Territo and Betty Gardner.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayer Service will be held Friday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.

Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Josephine O'Hara Thursday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
