Justina E. Santoro

Justina (Jay) E. Lombardi Santoro, 95, of Belle Vernon, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Mon Valley Hospital, Monongahela.  Born December 21, 1924 in North Belle Vernon, PA she was the daughter of the late Guido and Fina Quiriconi Lombardi.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Santoro was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, was a homemaker, was a member of the Belle Vernon Golden Age Assembly, enjoyed gardening, baking, playing cards, and reading romance novels.  Justina always looked forward to spending time with her family and most of all her grandchildren.

She is survived by son & daughter in law Ronald J. & Donna L. Santoro of Belle Vernon, daughter & son in law Jami Lynn & Max L. Chywski of Donora; four grandchildren Adam Santoro & Meredith Burke, Abby & Ryan Santoro-Rehula, Brett & Helena Chywski, Connor Chywski; great grandson Miles A. Chywski and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband Ferdinand (Fred) F.  Santoro, son Anthony R. Santoro; sister Amelia Kolodychak and an infant brother at birth.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Joel Boco as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Justina Santoro Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home.  Condolences accepted at the funeral home’s website, www.parzynskifuneralhome.com.
