Kelly McCloskey

Kelly McCloskey, 66, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born February 20, 1958, in N. Charleroi, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Joan Nogy McCloskey. A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 35 years, Mr. McCloskey was a member of Fells United Methodist Church. Mr. McCloskey retired as an electrical engineer for Allegheny Power and West Penn Power and was currently a bus driver for the Belle Vernon Area School District. Kelly was an Eagle Scout and served as a past leader for Boy Scout Troop 1005, Washington PA. He enjoyed working in his yard, camping and fixing old cars and was a member of the 10th Street Athletic Club, Charleroi.

He is survived by his wife Marla Faust McCloskey to whom he was married 34 years; five children Joel Houston & Companion Stephanie of Centerville, Keven & Alicia McCloskey of Rostraver Twp., Mitchell & Alexa McCloskey of Smithton, Matthew McCloskey of Fallowfield Twp., Sarah McCloskey of Rostraver Twp.; three grandchildren Bryson Houston, Alyse McCloskey, Clayton McCloskey; brother & sister in law Scott & Jennifer McCloskey of Hunker; sister & brother in law Holly & Jim Kauffman of Greensburg and his pet dogs Ace, Rocky, Luke, Nyx & Sephy.

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Saturday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10:00 AM with the Pastor Kim Foos of Fells United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Kelly McCloskey to Tunnel to Towers or to St. Jude's Hospital.
