Lee V. 'Ske' Yowonske

Lee V. ‘Ske’ Yowonske, 70, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 12:11 pm at his home.  Born February 24, 1947 in Pricedale, he was the son of the late John and Helen Britvich Yowonske.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mr. Yowonske was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, was a retired equipment operator from US Steel, Duquesne, retired from Operator Engineers Local 66 and from the Belle Vernon Area School District, utility and maintenance department.  Lee also enjoyed gardening, canning, hunting with his family and vacationing on cruises.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Janet Mitchell Yowonske to whom he was married 44 years, two sons Lee Yowonske Jr. of Belle Vernon, Jason Yowonske  & Diane Sukal of Belle Vernon; mother in law Sara Mitchell, sisters in law Gerri Yowonske, Karen Rischitelli & husband Daniel, Nancy Patera & husband Rick; nieces and nephew Nicole Henson, Teddy Yowonske, Rachelle Rischitelli, Natalie Patera, Emily Patera; a great niece; three great nephews; special cousin Rick Yowonske & Wife Suzanne and his best friend Tom Buchanan. He is preceded in death by three brothers Carl Yowonske, John Yowonske Jr. and Theodore Yowonske

Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Francisco R. Gan Jr. Pastor as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Members of St. Sebastian Parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Lee Yowonske Friday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
