Leonard R. Guy, 90, of Belle Vernon, died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Washington County Health Center, Washington. Born September 3, 1927 in Hempfield Twp., he was the son of the late William and Anna Armitage Guy. Mr. Guy was a member of Char-Belle Free Methodist Church, North Belle Vernon, was retired from J&L Steel, Vesta 5 Mine, where he worked as a coal miner and was a veteran of World War II where he served in the US Navy. Leonard enjoyed gardening, rabbit hunting and walking his dogs.
He is survived by two sons & daughters in law Leonard A. & Kathy Guy of Greenock, Kenneth R. & Alberta Guy of Charleroi; two grandchildren Christopher Guy, Emily Guy and a sister Ethel Neil of Daisytown. He is preceded in death by his wife Dolores V. Learnard Guy (9/19/2013); four brothers Howard Dale Guy, Andy Guy, Stanley Guy, Ray Guy and three sisters Wilma, Irene & Margaret.
