Lois Ann Cowan

Lois Ann Sellaro Cowan, 78, of Perryopolis, Jefferson Twp., passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at AHN Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills. Born November 5, 1946 in Belle Vernon, PA she was the daughter of the late Louis A. and Alice C. Davis Sellaro. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 49 years, Mrs. Cowan was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, and was retired from Mellon Bank, where she worked as a Loan Officer. She was a former member of the Red Hat Society, loved cooking, buying crafts and decorating. 

She is survived by her husband George Cowan to whom she was married to for 56 years, son George L. Cowan, four lifelong friends Marsha Page, Patricia Morris, Veronica Matson, Mariam Howell. 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-5 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Prayers of Transfer will be held Friday at 10:45 AM in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 11:30 AM at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael Thomas as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
