Margaret Tomayko

Margaret Tomayko, 96, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at 8:21 pm at Mon Valley Care Center, Carroll Twp. Born October 10, 1919 in Wickhaven, PA she was the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Filitsky Tomayko. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Tomayko was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon and was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters and son in law Marcella Harshman of Belle Vernon, Veronica & Stanley Cyrnek of Belle Vernon; son & Daughter In Law Raymond & Mary Tomayko of Bradenton, Florida; brother Leo Tomayko of Spokane, Washington; two grandchildren Jeffrey Cyrnek & wife Jennifer, Natalie Griffith & husband James; and three great grandchildren Madison Cyrnek, Clinton Griffith, Hayley Cannon. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles J. Tomayko; three brothers Albert, August and Edward Tomayko; three sisters Mary Lyons, Vilma Tomayko, Eleanor Sudol; daughter in law Glenda Tomayko and a son in law John Harshman.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Friday at 11:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 12:00 pm at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Margaret Tomayko Thursday at 3 PM in the funeral home.
