Mary (Pobok) Brassart

Mary Pobok Brassart, 96, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Belle Vernon passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at her home in Millsboro, DE.  Born March 3, 1925 in Naomi, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Kassik Pobok.  A resident of Millsboro for the past 4 years, she previously resided in Belle Vernon and was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Wardle of Lancaster, son & daughter in law Albert L. Brassart Jr. & wife Karen I. of Millsboro, Delaware, three grandchildren, four step grandchildren, four great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Brassart Sr., two brothers Michael Pobok, Andy Pobok and sister Anna Hussar.

Relatives and friends are to gather at the Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church, Belle Vernon on Monday, July 19, 2021 for visitation from 11-12 pm followed by funeral services at 12 pm with the Very Rev. Stephan Gresh as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Mary to Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church.
