Mary A. Scigliano

Mary Agnes Niemiec Scigliano, 89, of Belle Vernon, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015. Born June 20, 1926, in Dearborn, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Zygmunt Niemiec. Mrs. Scigliano was a resident of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and had previously resided in Waterbury, Conn. Mary was a former member of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church, Waterbury, Conn., and a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Deerfield Beach, Fla. Mrs. Scigliano worked for the family business Scigliano Lumber, Waterbury Conn., was a homemaker, enjoyed watching FOX News and was an avid Notre Dame fan. She was the loving mother of her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Peter Vesely of Belle Vernon; son and daughter-in-law, Louis James and Judy Scigliano of Hamden, Conn.; five grandchildren, Lisa Vesely, Peter Vesely Jr. and wife, Holly, Adrienne Daniloff, Louis James Scigliano Jr. and wife, Dena, Vincent Scigliano; five great-granddaughters, Peyton, Aubrey, Lainey, Kenley Vesely, Sophia Rose Scigliano; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Annie Niemiec of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and a sister, Dorothy Sedrowski of Clinton Township, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Scigliano; and four brothers, Joseph, Edward, Alfred, Benny Niemiec.
