Michael Susick Sr.

Michael Susick, Sr., 64, of Belle Vernon, Rostraver Twp., passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Jefferson Hills Hospital.  Born November 26, 1956 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Joseph Susick Sr. and Rita C. Misiak.  A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Michael was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church and was retired from Local 286, where he worked as a Union Labor.  He was a member of the Belle Vernon Moose, Slavic Club of North Charleroi, Rotolo Sports League, was an avid Pittsburgh Panther fan and traveled with the former Golden Panthers, enjoyed golfing and trips to Myrtle Beach.

He is survived by his wife Linda Butera Susick to whom he was married to for 34 years, son Michael Jr. Susick & Fiancée Stephanie Cole of Forrest Hills, daughter Julie Susick of Mt. Washington, brothers & sisters in law Joseph Susick Jr. of Spring Hill, FL, Timothy & Karen L. Susick of Belle Vernon, Theodore (Bear) & Marianne Susick of Washington Twp., Terence (Slicker) & Tina Susick of Belle Vernon, Mark & Mary Ann Susick of Perryopolis, numerous nieces and nephews, and a pet dog Rory.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Thursday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  In accordance with state mandates masks MUST be worn and social distancing must be maintained.
