Minnie (Gallo) Hauth

Minnie Gallo Hauth, 94, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at her home.  Born June 19, 1927 in Newell, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose McCune Gallo.  A resident of Belle Vernon for the past 69 years having previously resided in Newell and was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon.  Minnie was retired from Pgh & Lake Erie RR, where she worked as a general clerk, was a member of the Anita Garibaldi Society, the Belle Vernon & Fayette City Golden Age Assembly, the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas B.V. Court 1522 and the former Belle Vernon American Legion 659 Ladies Axillary.

She is survived by her two daughters Donna Maire Hauth of Carolina Shores, NC, Kathryn Hauth of Belle Vernon and a brother John Gallo of Newell.  She is preceded in death by her husband William Joseph Hauth (1970) and three brothers Dominic Gallo, Angelo Gallo and Dominic Gallo.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.

Prayers of Transfer will be held Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Michael J. Crookston as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Members of the Anita Garibaldi Society will conduct services Monday at 7 PM in the funeral home.
