Patricia Ann Rue

Patricia Ann ‘Patty’ Malys Rue, 65, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., died Friday, October 14, 2016 at 2:14 am at her home.  Born December 21, 1950 in N. Charleroi, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward Malys Sr. and Charlotte Watson Malys.   A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon, Mrs. Rue was a member of St. Sebastian R.C. Church, Belle Vernon, was a member of the former Legion of Mary at St. Sebastian Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband George Rue to whom she would have been married 40 years later this month; two daughters Georgette McGavitt & Brian Bennett of Belle Vernon, Amanda Rue of Brownstown; son in law James McGavitt of Belle Vernon; brother & sister in law Edward & Darla Malys of Coal Center; grandson Zander McGavitt and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews and her beloved dog Rocky.  She is preceded in death by her sister Charlotte Malys.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.  Prayers of Transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant.  Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Patty Sunday at 3 pm in the funeral home.
