Paul E. Nagy

Paul E. Nagy, 87, of Pittsburgh, died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 5:25 pm at Oak Leaf Inc., Brentwood. Born March 3, 1929 in Donora, he was the son of the late Paul A. and Mary E. Emery Nagy. A resident of Pittsburgh, Mr. Nagy was a Catholic by faith, was a retired college administrator from W&J College, enjoyed music and served on the board for the Pittsburgh Jazz society and the Monroeville Jazz society. He was a veteran of World War II where he served in the US Army.
He is survived by a son & daughter in law Glenn & Pam Nagy of Whitehall; two daughters Judy Fabina of Pittsburgh, Kathleen Nagy of Castle Shannon and three grandchildren Jay Nagy, Stephen Fabina and Grant Nagy. He is preceded in death by his wife Geraldine L. Kerns Nagy (1998) and a sister Carole Cameron.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183 followed by funeral services at 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
Private family entombment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
