Richard A. Evans, 75, of Elrama, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026 peacefully at home. Born July 17, 1951 in N. Charleroi, PA he was the son of the late Richard J. and Ann Maley Evans. A resident of Elrama for the past 52 years, Mr. Evans was a member of Crossroads Ministries, Finleyville. Richard retired from US Steel Clairton Works, where he worked as a manager, enjoyed gardening, traveling with his wife, and attending his grandchildren's many sporting events and activities.

He is survived by his loving wife, Edith Rowe Evans, to whom he was married for 55 years, two sons and daughter-in-laws, Richard & Andrea Evans of Finleyville, Robert & Deborah Evans of Elrama, and daughter & son-in-law, Colleen & William Haywood of Monongahela, sister & brother-in-law Marilyn & Gene Sethman of Charleroi, brother-in-law William Brounce of Charleroi, sister-in-law Genevieve Evans of Speers, many nieces and nephews, and thirteen grandchildren-Chase Evans, Cole Evans, Cali Evans, Cooper Evans, Danika Evans, Matigan Evans, Nick Evans, Harvey Evans, Grace Lund (Tavis Lund), Owen Haywood, Zoe Haywood, Elizabeth Haywood, and Lucy Haywood. He is preceded in death by his brother Ronald Evans and sister Carol Brounce.

Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25 from 2-4 & 6-7:30 pm followed by funeral services at 7:30 pm with Pastor Ken Barner of Crossroads Ministries, Finleyville, officiating at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.
