Rita Ann Watson

Rita Ann Watson, 77, of Monessen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Born September 20, 1939 in Vesta, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Catherine Winn Lang. Mrs. Watson was a homemaker and member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen. She was the beloved wife of 51 years to the late William ‘Bill’ Watson.
She is survived by four sons and daughter in law William Watson of Speers, John Watson of Monessen, James Watson of Monessen, Kevin & Denise Watson of Virginia Beach, Virginia; daughter & son in law Anna Marie & Martin Vasquez of North Belle Vernon; nine grandchildren Marty and Shaina Vasquez, Adam, Dylan and Ryan Watson, Tyler Watson, Camryn Rose and Ava Watson, Ashley and a great granddaughter Taylor Lynn and her best buddy ‘Pudgy’. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by four brothers Melford, William, John, Guy Lang and three sisters Evelyn Havrilak, Mary Ellen Wysochanski and Donna Jan.
Visitation and funeral mass were private for the family. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Interment took place in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
