Rolanda Marie Reed

Rolanda Marie Reed, 53, of Belle Vernon, Washington Twp., passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at AHN Jefferson Hospital, Jefferson Hills. Born July 4, 1971 in McKeesport, PA she was the daughter of the late Donald A. and Julia Ann Alton Reed. A lifelong resident of Belle Vernon Rolanda was a member of St. Sebastian RC Church, Belle Vernon and was a Senior Account Specialist at Zilka & Co., Hunker. She was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins hockey fan, enjoyed fitness and training for marathons and loved her popsicles.

She is survived by her Goddaughter whom she considered her own daughter Ashley Richard of Belle Vernon; sister & brother-in-law Donell & Gary Leopold of Wichita, KS; brother Raymond Reed of North Belle Vernon; ; four nieces and nephews Leo, Axel, Samuel & Lexa; her pet cats Scooter 'Pothole', Peach, Mama, Biggie Smalls and many cousins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Parzynski Funeral Home at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Vincent A. Concepcion of St. Sebastian Church officiating.
