Obituary

Ronald Edward Croushore, 87, of Rostraver Twp., passed away Thursday, October 1, 2026. Born June 29, 1939 in Mt. Pleasant, PA he was the son of the late Edward F. Croushore and Dorothy Dodson Croushore Cinti. A resident of Rostraver Twp. for over 70 years, Mr. Croushore was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen, where he served as eucharistic minister and on the finance committee. He retired from Sherwin Williams, Monessen, where he worked as a manager for over 40 years, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, served on the board of the Salvation Army when it was in Monessen, served on board and was Treasurer at Senior Center, Monessen. Ron served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the America Legion. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Brna Croushore to whom he was married to for 61 years, his five children: Danyele & Craig Bernick of McCandless, David & Danielle Croushore of McCandless, Deanna & Chris Hurst of Huntersville, NC, Denise Croushore & partner James Stewart of Greensburg, Deborah & Raymond Graham of Canonsburg, sister & brother in law Karen & Bernie Triscik, sister in law Mary Jan Croushore, nine grandchildren Andrea, Kayleigh, Megan, Leah, Gracie, Sara, Ashley, Rachel, R.J., and seven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Denny Croushore and beloved pet dogs Heidi, Mindy, Lucy, and Maggie.

Private family visitation and funeral mass was held on Saturday at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, Monessen with the Rev. Anthony Onoko as celebrant. Ron’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Interment took place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Ronald E. Croushore to Parkinsons Association.
