Ronald E. Krofcheck, 87, of Perryopolis, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Easy Living Estates, Hunker. Born September 26, 1938 in Leckrone, PA he was the son of the late Stephen and Anna Walczy Krofcheck. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 61 years, Mr. Krofcheck was a member of St. John the Baptist RC Church, Perryopolis. Ronald was a retired grocery store manager from Perryopolis Shop-n-Save and Uniontown Foodland. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served in the US Army and was a member of the Perryopolis Knights Of Columbus Council 4427. Ronald enjoyed hunting, walking in the woods, bird watching, golfing, listening to music and going to concerts and gardening. Ronald was always tinkering around the house, finding small jobs to do.

He is survived by his three sons and two daughters in law Ronald & Pam Krofcheck of Hurricane, Gregory M. & Becky Krofcheck of West Newton, Daniel Krofcheck of Perryopolis, seven grandchildren Ryan, Rebecca, Gavin, Emma, Sara, Madison, and Elena Krofcheck, three brothers & sisters in law Stephen & Irene Krofcheck of Burgettstown, Gerald & Connie Krofcheck of Masontown, Richard & Paula Krofcheck of Aurora. He is preceded in death by his wife Billie J. Lytle Krofcheck.

Private visitation and funeral services were held on Saturday. Ronald’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Inurnment took place in St. John The Baptist RC Cemetery.
