Scott James Stunja, 62, of Perryopolis, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025 at West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born August 16, 1962 in Greensburg, PA he was the son of the late Edward Raymond and Eleanor Jean Mason Stunja. A lifelong resident of Perryopolis, Scott owned and operated Scooters's Construction for 36 years. He was a member of the
member of the Perryopolis Sons and Daughters of Italy, social member of the Perryopolis VFW, former Perryopolis Moose Lodge, Star Junction Fish and Game, pool clubs and football clubs. He enjoyed fishing, working on houses and roofs, and spoiling his grandkids.
He is survived by his three children Monica Stunja, Megan Stunja, Mason Stunja, three stepchildren Scotty Tomay, Mathew Leska, Memrie Olinzock, former partners and mothers of his children Stephanie Leska, Kim Olinzock, three brothers Edward Stunja, Jeff Stunja, Robbie Stunja, two sisters Cindi Casper, Yvonne Risker, and five grandchildren Skyler, Isaiah, Jaeoni, Zelimir, Rayne. He is preceded in death by his beloved partner Marcy Tomay and stepson Jeffrey Tomay.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Scott’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515.
