Sherry A. Wall Bertola, 91, of Monessen, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026 at Country Care Manor. Born October 18, 1934 in Donora, PA she was the daughter of the late George C. and Laura Farquhar Wall. A lifelong resident of Monessen, Mrs. Bertola was known for her deep faith and devotion as a Christian. She found great joy in studying the Bible, which was a central part of her daily life.

She is survived by her husband James V. Bertola to whom she was married to for 68 years on Dec. 27, 2025, daughter & son in law Jamie & Carl Fronzaglio of Washington Twp., son James D. Bertola of Monessen, and granddaughter Francesca Fronzaglio. She is preceded in death by her nine brothers and sisters: infant sisters Georgetta Wall and Francis Wall, Virginia Welsh, Marjorie Overand, George Wall, Sherman Wall, Audrey Smith, Vernon Wall, Marlin Gosney.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-2:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:30 PM with Joshua Bridge officiating at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183. Interment will take place in Fells Cemetery.
