Obituary

Stanley Koliscak, 80, of Belle Vernon, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026. Born September 15, 1945 in San Francisco, CA he was the son of the late Mike and Marie Kostal Koliscak. Stan was a resident of Belle Vernon his entire life. He was a graduate of Bellmar High School in 1963, continuing his education becoming a successful engineer working for Siemans & Mannesmann DeMac traveling the world as a steel mill and refractory designer. Stan was a past member of the Monessen Elks and the Naomi Athletic Club. He enjoyed golfing and attending Pitt and Steeler games. Stan also enjoyed fun parties and always said that it only costs a little bit more to go first class, which is what he did his entire life.

He is survived by his three granddaughters Addison, Alexis, and Lanie Koliscak, daughter in law Melanie Koliscak of Zelienople, siblings Bernard 'Bernie' & Rosemary Koliscak of Rostraver Twp., Malcolm & Joni Koliscak of NC, Michelle Geckle of Latrobe, Michael 'Butch' & Sandra Koliscak of Acme, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Barnot Koliscak and son Jason B. Koliscak.

Visitation and funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, privately for the family with the Rev. John Sedlak officiating. Entombment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Stan’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon 724-929-6183.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Harmon House Skilled Nursing and Rehab Unit, Mt. Pleasant and the staff at Easy Living Estates, Hunker and Bridges Hospice.
