Theodore Hamilla, 91, of Vanderbilt, passed away Friday, March 7, 2025 at Bella Healthcare Center, Uniontown. Born March 7, 1934 in Vanderbilt, PA he was the son of the late John and Julia Buchina Hamilla. A lifelong resident of Vanderbilt, Mr. Hamilla was Catholic by faith and worked on his family farm. After his workday on the farm, Theodore would take his 3 ½ mile walk to his favorite hangout, Randalls Restaurant, where he would meet his friends or lend a helping hand at the restaurant.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by his two brothers John Hamilla, Paul Hamilla Sr., and two sisters Marion Grimplin, Dorothy Washabaugh.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC, Family Owned and Operated, 191 Liberty St. Perryopolis, PA 724-736-2515. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Parzynski Funeral Home & Cremations LLC at 10 AM. Interment will take place in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
